Office 2013

Office 2013 Training

There are 3 transition training options that GCS is offering staff.

1. Play around with it. One notable difference is the use of the “ribbon” at the top of the screen. The ribbon replaces the “drop down” menu that you used in Office 2003.

1.  Read through the PDF called Outlook Getting Started.  This is a 5 page pictorial overview of Outlook.
Another quick look at Outlook here.  Two great places to get started.

2.  Microsoft Office has a website with video clips on how to do specific tasks in Outlook.  They are sorted into beginner, intermediate, and advanced.  Very specific and easy to understand.

3.  This 16 minute video will give you basic (and some more advanced) set up information for Outlook 2013.  There is a bit of humor involved in his video.
